So I finally sold my Explorer2, and the search has begun for a replacement. I was pretty sure i would be going for the 14060m with the bond style Nato, but that was until I saw this picture that Hary from Watchuseek took:
Now I can`t get it out of my head
I just love the Nato combo on this one, makes it look really vintage
So I`ve tried to read up on the posts that I could find on the Explorer and I came across a review by Walt Odets wich really put a downer on my new crush.
Is the Explorer really this crude? The pictures of the movement was really not what I would expect from a Rolex watch. I`m not sure how old this review is, but has the movement been upgraded since?
Hope someone can shed some light on this
Oh, and I would love to see some pictures, specially on Nato

the first red sub was sold because, after service, the idiot watch maker damaged my dial. the second one was sold in a moment of pure lunacy, thinking i can pick up another whenever i want. this was true but at double the price. valuation wasn’t a concern till my robert frost moment. i was swimming with it just the other week without pressure testing it for goodness sake
i will be living in the suburbs soon and i will be one of those bridge and tunnel people lol sounds like monsters in a b-movie. at least i can stare at my new car under a glass case and wonder how much fun it would be to drive it
